Located in the Central Province, Kandy was the last capital of the ancient Kings of Sri Lanka and lies in a plateau in the midst of mountains filled with lush tea plantations. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in Sri Lanka.

The Kandy Lake (known as Kiri Muhuda or Milk Sea) is a man-made lake in the heart of the city built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, the last King of Sri Lanka.

Walking along the lake front on Sangaraja Mawatha you come across Tea Tang’s new tea boutique in the Kandy City inviting tea lovers. The store offers its esteemed customers the perfect ambience with a wide range of teas in exclusive packaging. You can select from the traditional loose leaf tea to tea bags, green tea, flavoured tea, herbal and fruit infusions and a wide range of gift teas for that special moment.

Tea Tang takes pleasure in inviting you to savour our teas that come with that personal touch of our experienced staff who have a flaming passion for tea.
